1.
From the end of a section, cut a 2-inch horizontal line at the
top of the leg then cut vertically down cutting off the 2-inch
piece of leg. Finally cut a 2-inch horizontal line where the nose
begins to form and cut off that 2-inch piece of nose, cutout and
clip. Bend the remaining piece of slope down toward the bottom
of the gutter to form an end cap. |
| 2.
Place a Section of K-GutterShut along side a selected length of
existing K-Gutter on your roof. |
 |
| 3.
VERY IMPORTANT BEFORE
CUTTING THE VERTICAL LEG TO FIT AROUND THE K BRACKETS (GUTTER HANGERS),
A SPACE ON THE VERTICAL LEG MUST BE MARKED ONE
(1) INCH WIDER THAN THE K BRACKETS TO ALLOW SECTIONS
TO SLIDE INTO THE CONNECTOR. AFTER MARKING A SPACE ONE
(1) INCH WIDER THAN THE K BRACKETS, CUT THE VERTICAL
LEG AS MARKED TO FIT AROUND THE K BRACKETS. |
 |
4.
Insert the Vertical Leg inside and against the back wall of the
K-Gutter.
NOTE:
If the vertical leg is too high, simply cut the vertical
leg horizontally where scored to fit your gutter. |
 |
5.
VERY IMPORTANT The CLIP MUST SNAP-FIT ONTO THE
LIP OF K-GUTTER AS SHOWN TO ALLOW RAINWATER TO ENTER THE GUTTER:
Squeeze
the Nose toward the Back Wall until the Clip snap-fits onto the
Lip as shown, to allow rainwater to enter the gutter.
NOTE:
It is NOT necessary to snap-fit an entire Section between the
Vertical Leg and the Lip all at once. It may be easier to squeeze
one end of a Section until the Clip clasps onto the Lip and then
to gradually snap-fit the Section onto the Lip, a little at a
time.

 |
| 6.
Insert a Connector onto one end of an installed Section. After installing
the next Section inside the gutter, slide that Section into the
Connector to securely connect Sections together.
