INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS - HR-Gutter For installation assistence dial toll-free: 866-561-5100 Suggestions for installation: 2 people, ladder, rotozip or sharp snips or saw, marker 1. From the end of a section, cut a 2-inch horizontal line at the top of the leg then cut vertically down cutting off the 2-inch piece of leg. Finally cut a 2-inch horizontal line where the nose begins to form and cut off that 2-inch piece of nose, cutout and clip. Bend the remaining piece of slope down toward the bottom of the gutter to form an end cap. 2. Place a Section of HR-Gutter Shut along side a selected length of existing HR-Gutter on your roof. 3. VERY IMPORTANT BEFORE CUTTING THE SLEEVE AND BACK CLIP TO FIT AROUND THE HR BRACKETS (GUTTER HANGERS), A SPACE ON THE SLEEVE AND BACK CLIP MUST BE MARKED ONE (1) INCH WIDER THAN THE HR BRACKETS TO ALLOW SECTIONS TO SLIDE INTO THE CONNECTOR. AFTER MARKING SPACES ONE (1) INCH WIDER THAN THE HR BRACKETS, CUT THE SLEEVE AND BACK CLIP AS MARKED TO FIT AROUND THE HR BRACKETS: Using a marking instrument, mark a space for the Sleeve and Back Clip approximately one (1) inch wider on both sides of all HR Brackets and cut the Sleeve and Back Clip with snips or scissors as marked around the HR Brackets.
Cut
the Sleeve and Back Clip as marked to fit around the HR Brackets. NOTE: It is NOT necessary to snap-fit an entire Section between the curved Back Wall and Tube all at once. It may be easier to attach the Back Clip at one end of a section to the curved back wall and then to gradually snap-fit the sleeve onto the tube, a little at a time. 5. Insert a connector onto one end of an installed section. After installing the next Section inside the gutter, slide that section into the connector to securely connect two sections together.
